Nike Mercurial CR7 Rainbow

Love them or hate them, everybody has an opinion in relation to the CR signature series. Nike reserve their most daring designs for their headline athlete, using any CR launch as a possibility to spice issues up. These though might face a problem in convincing essentially the most loyal of Ronaldo followers! We'll allow you to make your own mind up.

After Nike's CR Mercurial Vapor VIII, we thought Cristiano could be taking a brand new, classier strategy to his on-pitch style. But no. Nike and Ronaldo's collaborations - which date again to 2009 - have been something but predictable. As soon as once more they've turned the tables, delivering one in all their most bizarre designs yet.  

Ronaldo's new look is derived from the world of cycling. The White/Volt/Crimson Mercurial V9 boots take their inspiration from biking's 'Rainbow Jersey' - a striped coloured jersey given to the world champion to make him more visible to different competitors. A sensible idea and one that in principle, may make Ronaldo more seen to his staff mates. 

The orange noticed Swoosh may appear to be it is contaminated, but is the truth is patterned with Nike's famous Safari print, used on the first two CR signature shoes. Ronaldo's Love/Hate brand - launched for his earlier 2012 collection - and his iconic no.7 both sit inside the yellow & blue stripes which wrap around the complete boot.

As for the boot itself, Ronaldo returns to identical Japanese microfiber materials as used on his signature Vapor VIII and the Platinum Mercurial Vapor IX. The material has a leather end utilized to it and is distinctively completely different to the upper of the Fireberry V9, but is one which Cristiano obviously favours. They also come equipped with Nike's ACC technology.
